Keswick Community Cricket was founded with a simple goal: to create a space where individuals can come together through the sport of cricket while building meaningful connections within the South Edmonton community. We believe that community cricket has the power to unite individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and experiences, fostering friendships that extend far beyond the boundaries of the cricket field.
Our cricket club serves as a gathering place for players who share a passion for the game and a desire to be part of something larger than themselves. Whether members join to enhance their cricket skills, stay physically active, meet new people, or simply enjoy spending time outdoors, they become part of a welcoming and supportive environment that values participation, respect, and teamwork.
At Keswick Community Cricket, we are dedicated to fostering a positive sporting culture where every player has the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute. We promote sportsmanship, personal development, and mutual support, creating an atmosphere where players can challenge themselves while enjoying the camaraderie that makes cricket unique.
Beyond matches and training sessions, our cricket club aims to strengthen community connections through organized events, social activities, and opportunities for members and families to come together. These experiences help create a sense of belonging and make our club an integral part of the local community.
As we continue to grow, our vision is to make cricket more accessible and inclusive for everyone in South Edmonton. We welcome players of all ages and skill levels, from those discovering the sport for the first time to experienced cricketers seeking a competitive and community-focused environment. Through dedication, teamwork, and a shared love of cricket, we strive to build a club that all members are proud to represent.
Membership is open to anyone interested in becoming part of our community cricket initiative. A mandatory $30 Summer Games Fee includes 6 months of membership, providing access to club activities, matches, and community events throughout the season.
At Keswick Community Cricket, every game is an opportunity to learn, every practice is a chance to improve, and every gathering is an opportunity to build lasting friendships. Together, we are creating a vibrant cricket community where everyone has a place to belong.
